CAN-Phantom is a state of the art security immobiliser that will increase your vehicles security against the modern day high tech car thief. It protects against common theift techniques like hot wiring, fake keys but also signal/ relay attacks used on keyless entry cars, stolen keys, key cloning and canbus bypass techniques that are oftern used on Land Rovers. This is done by creating a private passcode for your vehicle using the prexisting buttons in the car that without being entered the car will fail to start or in some case the vehicle can be started but wont be able to be put into drive until the correct passcode has been entered. CAN-Phantom also comes with a services mode (valet mode) which deactivates the passcode for a period of time so that the vehicle can be serviced at a garage without having to disclose your private passcode. The system has its own private WiFi in what is called maintance mode which allows the user to change the passcode at anytime, but maintance mode can ony be used once the orginal passcode has been entered to verifiy that the person accessing the WiFi is permitted to do so. In the event that the passcode is forgottern, each Phantom comes with its own emergency pin which is unique to every device.
